I am a beginner to java and i dont have knowledge on c,c++..how would i learn java effectively

Start from learning object oriented concepts. Once you understand those concepts you can take basic programming lessons of java online. You don't compulsarily need to learn C or C++ before but it is still a plus point to learn them first. Anyways, all the best! :)
